Piper PA32-260 Crashes at Madisonville, Texas Airport – 1 Dead, 5 Injured

There was a small plane crash in Madisonville, Texas on June 14, 2021.  The plane, single-engine Piper PA32-260, crashed at the local airport.  The plane was attempting to land at the airport, but crashed short of the runway.  One person has been confirmed dead.  Five other passengers have been taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.  It is unclear as to what caused the crash at this time.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes in 2021.  Two people were injured when a Piper 140 crashed near the Denton, Texas airport on June 9, 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Collier County, Florida on June 7, 2021.  A pilot was killed when a Vans RV6A crashed in Porterville, California on June 7, 2021. There was a small plane crash in Denton County, Texas on June 4, 2021.  A Beechcraft A23 crashed in a field in Pinnacle, North Carolina on June 1, 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Pearland, Texas on May 29, 2021.
