There was a military jet crash near Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico on April 30, 2024. The plane, a F-16 jet, crashed near White Sands National Park. Reports indicate the pilot was able to eject prior to the crash. It is unclear what caused the jet to go down. The pilot sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
