Victim in Louisiana Small Plane Crash Identified

A small airplane crashed on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 near Tallulah, Louisiana.  The plane was a single-engine Air Tractor AT8T.  The plane was spraying crops when it struck a power line and crashed.  Authorities had identified the pilot of the plane as Carl L. Hill of Newellton, LA.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this accident.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes in Louisiana.  On December 16, 2020, a Piper PA-28-180 crashed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, killing two. On December 1, 2020, a plane crashed in Jeff Davis Parish.  In late October, one died in a plane crash near Slidell.  Two lost their lives in an October 16, 2020 crash in Terrebonne Parish.
