Boating Accident on Lake Pontchartrain – 4 Injured, 1 Missing

There was a boating accident in Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana on March 6, 2021.  A boat with five people on board hit the Highway 11 drawbridge in Lake Pontchartrain.  Four passengers were rescued and taken to University Medical Center New Orleans for medical treatment.  The fifth passenger remains missing.  Search and rescue operations remain ongoing at present.

A fire broke out on the ro-ro cargo ship GALLIPOLI SEAWAYS on February 11, 2021.  A fire broke out on the bulk carrier ship PRINCE 4 on February 12, 2021, while the ship was in the Black Sea off the Ukrainian coast. A fire broke out on the offshore supply vessel GREATSHIP ROHINI on February 13, 2021, killing three crew members.  A fire broke out on the fish processing vessel Aleutian Falcon on February 17, 2021.  A mass poisoning occurred on the cargo ship APRIL on February 19, 2021.  A 38 ft. fishing vessel sank on February 20, 2021, in Tillamook Bay, Oregon.  There was an explosion on board the car carrier HELIOS RAY on February 25, 2021.  There was a fire on board the fishing trawler Atlantic Destiny on March 2, 2021.
