There was a deadly helicopter crash near Knik Glacier, Alaska on March 27, 2021. There were six people on board the helicopter at the time of the crash. Reports indicate that it was a heli-skiing outing with three guests from the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, located north of Anchorage. The sole survivor was transported to an Anchorage hospital to receive medical treatment. The five deceased victims have been identified as: Gregory Harms, Petr Kellner, Benjamin Larochaix, Sean McManamy, and Zachary Russell. Petr Kellner and Benjamin Larochaix were both residents of the Czech Republic. The pilot, Zachary Russell, was an Anchorage resident. The helicopter was charted from Soloy Helicopters.
