There was a deadly boating accident on Lake Texoma, Oklahoma on the morning of July 10, 2021. According to reports, the accident happened on Lake Texoma between Wood Island and Sanders Island View. The vessel, a 1999 Falcon Striper, was traveling southeast on the lake when due to a steering malfunction it made a sharp turn. All three on board were thrown from the boat. The vessel began circling the occupants, striking them in the water. Two people lost their lives in the incident: Eddie Wayne Hines and Devered Dee Hines.
