Deadly 18-Wheeler Accident near Lake Charles, Louisiana

There was a deadly crash near Lake Charles, Louisiana on July 30, 2021.  The accident happened on I-10 westbound, when an 18-wheeler rear-ended a BMW passenger vehicle.  The driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene.  The passenger was taken via helicopter to a local hospital for treatment.  The accident remains under investigation at this time.
