Woman Killed Following 18-Wheeler Accident in Milam County, Texas

There was a deadly crash involving an 18-wheeler in Milam County, Texas on July 6, 2021.  The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 79 near Gause, Texas.  Reports indicate two vehicles were stopped on the eastbound shoulder of the highway.  While a woman was attempting to get something from the trunk of one of the vehicles, she was struck from behind by an 18-wheeler.  She died at the scene.  Authorities have identified her as Stephanie Louisa Torres-Herrera.  Fog may have played a role in this tragic accident.
