Single-Engine Beechcraft C23 Crashes in West Virginia – Three Killed

There was a plane crash in Lansing, West Virginia on September 26, 2021.  The plane, a single-engine Beechcraft C23, crashed after taking off from the nearby Fayette County Airport.  The victims have been identified as Nick Fletcher, Michael Taphouse, and Wesley Farley.  Details regarding the cause of the accident have not yet been released.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this deadly plane crash.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes in 2021.  A single-engine Beech 95-B55 crashed while attempting to land at the Fairfield County Airport in Ohio on September 24, 2021.  A Piper PA28R-200 crashed near Page, Arizona on September 22, 2021, killing the pilot and injuring the sole passenger.  A Cessna 172 plane crashed in Nevada County, California on September 19, 2021.  A Boeing A75 crashed near Delta, Colorado on September 17, 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Orcas Island, Washington on September 16, 2021.  A Beechcraft C24R plane crashed in a marsh in St. Augustine, Florida on September 13, 2021.
