Recreational Boating Accident in Wassaw Sound in Georgia

There was a recreational boating accident in Wassaw Sound, Georgia on November 1, 2021.  At the time, a recreational boat capsized in the Wassaw Sound.  The Coast Guard launched a search operation to locate three boaters who were on board.  At present the Coast Guard has rescued one of the boaters and recovered the body of another.  One remains missing at this time.  It  is unclear what caused the vessel to capsize.
