There was a small plane crash in Houston, Texas on December 8, 2021. The plane, a single-engine Piper PA28 Cherokee, crashed in a wooded area near the Katy Freeway on Wednesday night. The plane had departed from the West Houston Airport and was en route to Pearland. The plane crashed approximately two miles from the airport. The plane’s transponder was not working which made locating the plane more difficult for local authorities. Tragically, two people were killed in the crash. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
