Deadly Trucking Accident in Gregg County, Texas

There was a deadly 18-wheeler accident in Gregg County, Texas on January 7, 2022.  The accident occurred on eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Kilgore, Texas.  Reports indicate a 2004 Mazda Tribute passenger vehicle was disabled on the roadway following a prior accident.  An 18-wheeler that was traveling eastbound struck the disabled vehicle, which became engulfed in flames.  The driver of the Mazda, Linda Blaney of Shreveport, Louisiana, was killed in the crash.
