The product tanker B OCEAN was attacked and hijacked by pirates on January 25, 2022. At the time, the vessel was south of Abidjan, Ivory Coast in the Gulf of Guinea, en route from Cameroon to Cotonou, Benin. Reports indicate that pirates boarded the vessel and stole cargo before fleeing.
