Explosion and Fire at Wisconsin Manufacturing Plant – 6 Injured

There was a fire and explosion at Summerset Marine Construction in Eagle, Wisconsin on May 19, 2022.  Reports indicate that the explosion began in the welding bay.  The facility manufactures docks and piers.  At the time of the explosion, there were 24 workers at the plant.  Six people sustained injuries during the incident.

There was a hydrogen explosion at the Global Tungsten & Powders Plant in Towanda, Pennsylvania on April 21, 2022.  There was an explosion and fire at the Imperial Aluminum Plant in Minerva, Ohio on April 20, 2022.  There was a fire and release of chlorine at the Olin Plant at Dow Chemical in Plaquemine, Louisiana on April 18, 2022.
