There was a deadly oilfield accident near Fairview, Oklahoma on July 7, 2022. According to reports, a worker at the rig was pulled into a cable winch drum. The victim has been identified as Jerry Pollard of El Reno, Oklahoma. The rig was owned by Stride Energy LLC. An investigation will be conducted by OSHA.
