Boat Explosion in Babylon, New York

There was a recreational boating accident in Babylon, New York on August 26, 2022.  A boat exploded with six people on board.  At the time the boat was in a canal near the South Shore of Long Island.  One person sustained critical injuries and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital.  Four other passengers were hospitalized as well.  The cause of the explosion is unknown at this time.
