There was a deadly helicopter crash in Yankton, South Dakota on September 27, 2022. According to reports, an AG-915 Spartan helicopter crashed northwest of the Chan Gurney Municipal Airport. The pilot, the only person on board, was killed in the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
