Fire on Oyster Boat in Galveston Bay, Texas

There was a fire on board a 25-five-foot oyster boat in Galveston Bay, Texas on November 6, 2022.  According to reports, a fire broke out on the vessel which quickly spread.  Three people on board were able to be rescued by a samaritan vessel, the dredge Master Dylan.  A Coast Guard vessel then took the injured individuals to University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston for medical treatment.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
