Gas Explosion Kills Railroad Worker in Spring, Texas

There was a deadly gas explosion in Spring, Texas on November 5, 2022.  According to reports, two people were working on the railroad lines near Old Town Spring.  While performing hotwork on the lines, gas ignited resulting in an explosion.   One worker was killed as a result.  Additional details have not yet been released.

There have been a number of incidents at industrial and manufacturing plants.  There was a fire at the Wilbur-Ellis Fertilizer Plant in Grant County, Washington on October 23, 2022.  There was a deadly accident involving a crane at an Eastman Chemical Co. site in Longview, Texas on October 24, 2022.  There was a fatal accident at the Exxon Mobil Plant in Beaumont, Texas on October 28, 2022.  There was a fire at the Valero East Plant in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 3, 2022.
