There was a deadly crash at an airshow in Dallas, Texas on November 12, 2022. The crash occurred during the Wings Over Dallas Airshow held at the Dallas Executive Airport. The collision was between two vintage planes: Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra. Six people were killed during the accident. Both planes were owned by Commemorative Air Force, which hosted the airshow. Both of the planes were based out of Houston, Texas. Two victims have been identified, Terry Barker and Len Root, who are believed to have been crew members on the B-17 Flying Fortress. Additional victims have not yet been identified. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the tragic crash. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this deadly crash.
