There was a plane crash near Cleburne, Texas on December 4, 2022. The plane, a single-engine Cessna C205, crashed shortly after taking off from the Cleburne Regional Airport. The plane had refueled at the airport, after arriving from West Virginia. The plane was headed to Granbury, Texas. There were two people on board at the time, who were both killed in the crash. One of the victims has been identified as Jeanette Stone. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
