There was a deadly accident at an oilfield site near Malaga, New Mexico on November 28, 2022. According to reports, one worker was killed and one was severely injured at a site near U.S. Highway 285 and Pulley Road in Eddy County. The two men were working at the site at the time. The victim has been identified as Glen Ray Martin of Panhandle, Texas. The injured worker was taken to University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas for medical care.
