There was an accident at a construction project in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana on January 25, 2023. According to reports, a logging truck collided with a dump truck on U.S. 171. At the time, a work crew was filling in potholes on the roadway. At least two workers were injured, and one was killed, as a result of the accident. The Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development has identified the victim as Chris Gray of Lake Charles. The injured workers are Jalen Singleton and Mario Ross.
