There was a small plane crash in Monroe County, Florida on March 11, 2023. According to reports, the plane crashed in the water near Bahia Honda State Park. The pilot, the only person on board, was rescued and brought to shore by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. He was then flown to a hospital for medical care.
