A recreational boat capsized in Maryland on September 29, 2021. At the time, the vessel was crab fishing in Reed’s Creek with four people on board. According to reports, the vessel was trot lining in the area, when the line caught in the vessel’s propeller. While attempting to untangle the line, the boat was struck with multiple waves which resulted in its capsizing. All four were able to be pulled out of the water by a nearby samaritan vessel. One of the passengers, Harry “Randy” Williams Jr., was unconscious, and eventually passed away from his injuries.
