Dassault Falcon Jet Crashes in Thompson, Georgia – Two Killed

There was a plane crash in Thompson, Georgia on October 5, 2021.  The plane, a Dassault Falcon jet, crashed with two people on board, killing both.  The plane was en route from the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport to Thomson-McDuffie County Airport.  The victims have been identified as the jet’s two pilots: Raymond Bachman and Claude Duchesne.  The plane was operated by California-based Pak West Airlines, and the Falcon Jet was believed to have been based out of El Paso, Texas.  The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes in 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Winnie, Texas on October 2, 2021.  There was a small plane crash near Eagle River, Wisconsin on September 26, 2021.  A Cessna 172 crashed while attempting an emergency landing in Miramar, Florida on September 27, 2021.  A single-engine Beechcraft C23 crashed after taking off from the Fayette County Airport on September 26, 2021, killing three people on board.
