There was a small plane crash near Oral, South Dakota on January 30, 2022. The plane, a single-engine Christavia Mk 1, crashed near Oral and Hot Springs, South Dakota. The pilot is believed to be the only occupant at the time of the crash. The pilot was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
