There was a plane crash in Waller County, Texas on September 12, 2022. According to reports, a single-engine plane nose-dived before crashing near Waller Gladish and Howell Road. There may have been a mechanical problem that led to the crash. The plane was en route from Hooks Airport to Soaring Club of Houston. Two individuals were transported via Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The pilot was later pronounced dead, and has been identified as Harding Rome.
